We ate, drank and were merry...

We were at my Mom's in Washington for Christmas. A delicious drink we all enjoyed was two fingers of pear brandy topped with champagne. Then you add a slice of fresh pear - yummm!

Mom made sure that there were plenty of tempting treats for us to enjoy...

Prime rib roast and a bacon wrapped pork loin all prepped and ready to smoke.

A peek inside the UDS (ugly drum smoker) to check the progress of the meats.

Perfect wonderfulness - smoky, juicy - it was so good!!

Tramp 1 did a great job with the meat. Guess it was worth hauling his 55 gallon drum smoker with us... Doesn't everyone travel with one of these over the holidays??

I did an oven roasted New York cut roast. It was really tender, but I bet the smoker version was even better. Glad you had a good time. - Margy

Bacon. And chocolate. Nothing says Christmas quite like that! I'm envious. We had ham.

And chocolate. :)
