Last night Tramp 1 was finally able to work outside in the garden. Due to the revamp of our garden and addition of new raised beds, he has to change all of the drip system. It is already a modification of an original sprinkler system. Needless to say, he had issues. He is trying to add the right sprinkler heads to cover the new seed bed and did not have them - if they even make them. He has every other type but the type we think we need. And it is too far to town to make a quick trip in the evening. Plus there were water pressure problems, too. But it will wait - we can certainly water by hand. In fact, it is nice to be out there with the hose, watching the birds and thinking.
We also need to get the plumber over really soon. Two of our outdoor faucets (one that supplies the garden) - the no freeze type - blew a couple of weeks ago when we turned them on for the first type this season. Seems they did freeze in the winter or failed badly. When you turn them on, water comes out of the siding on the house! Not good. And I don't want poor Tramp 1 under the house again with his back issues. Now this also requires closet cleaning because the entry to the crawl space is in the master bedroom closet. So I have been working at getting that part ready. It really is good to clean out the walk-in closet every so often, even if it is forced upon one! Funny how trying to garden can have me ending up cleaning closets...

Oh this sounds so much like me. Well not the sprinkler thing but the one thing leads to another.
I always start one project and end up with about 12 more. I can't seem to leave well enough alone. There is always one more issue to deal with.
Hopefully you got yours finished.
Sometimes just the thought of a major repair can lead to jobs popping up all around.
It's really hard sometimes to NOT get sidetracked...
Rae,
Not done yet here - but it has been an adventure so far! I have been finding things I forgot we had!
Jim,
Yes, being sidetracked can be okay - it happens here often. Sometimes it is because we just don't want to face something - we put on the blinders and keep moving - better than standing still!
