Outdoor Art - Dundee

Earlier this month while at the Oregon coast, we took time to visit the Dobbes Family Estate Winery in Dundee. It is a favorite place of ours to stop and taste some very good wine.

The landscaping as you enter the winery is very lovely, with a flowing creek and interesting plantings. Being trapped on the dry side of Oregon, I always linger when I visit places on the wet side of the state and soak in the beauty.

Nestled in among the various shrubs was this incredibly creative rock and metal sculpture of a quail. So very unique - at least to me!

Another rock bird of a different variety was found elsewhere on the grounds. I barely even cared about the wine with such wonderful sights to fill my gardening heart. But yes, I did force myself to go inside with Tramp 1 and do some sampling...
