How could I forget???

This morning I am enjoying another cup of coffee, watching it hail and catching up on blogs. I just read a post from Mama Pea at A Home Grown Journal about the very charming Easter baskets at her house. With my mind being jogged by her post, I remembered the Cadbury eggs that I bought last week and tucked away to save for Easter. Guess I hid them so well that I forgot about them! So tonight when Tramp 1 comes home from a long Monday at the office, he can bite down on that sugary rush of goodness oozing out of our once a year treat. And this year they are orange creme eggs...

Maybe I forgot the Cadbury eggs because I have "puppy brain" from sharing all my time with this very sweet, very happy puppy of ours.

Yes, I take him for rides in the re-purposed golf cart. Since Tramp 1 can't golf for awhile until his back is fully healed, I am using the cart for other purposes like hauling things back and forth between the shop and the house. Okay, you are right - I just like driving the cart, especially with a big yellow puppy riding along with me. And I mean big - he gained seven pounds last week and is now over fifty pounds and not yet 6 months old.

I love your big Chunkar puppy. I look forward to seeing him in many of your adventures. I hope he enjoys riding because he's going to be in for a lot of it with the two of you.

Not so sure about those Cadbury eggs, orange creme?

50 pounds and not even 6 months? I think you may have gotten a MOOSE, not a dog!
:D
He's looking really good. At this rate you can load him up with packs!

I am behind on reading your blog. Your big yellow guy is so handsome. He looks so well behaved sitting there posing for his picture. Looks like you are doing well with his training. It would be fun driving around with him.
