Winter has arrived?...

We were just sitting down to dinner and heard the wind pick up. When we glanced at the darkened windows we couldn't see any lights in the valley below. I turned on the outside lights and it was snowing - a lot and sideways! Yep, we have our first snowfall of the season.

Sure am glad I got a wheelbarrow of wood chopped this afternoon. We are nice and cozy, enjoying the storm. Hope that all of you are having a good evening, too!

I can't believe you had your first snow already! We've been enjoying some nice fall weather here, but today it's supposed to be a freakish 87 during the day. But not to worry, we might have our first frost Friday night. The weather is crazy here this time of year...
Stay warm and cozy!

That sounds exciting. Isn't this early? If we have another wet winter like the last one we may not think back on it with excitment.

Hot cocoa, a fire, cinnamon toast, mmmmmm... On the other hand, we're having unseasonally warm weather because the gods are having their laugh at us, again... come visit when you can...

Exciting but seems early. I love the snow but hate to drive in it. Growing up in Los Angeles didn't prepare me for that part of northern life. - Margy
