Winter Visitor

A nice mule deer buck with an a-typical rack of antlers.

One side appears to have suffered some damage down near the pedicle.

It makes him easier to identify when he visits!

But it won't be long before his antlers drop off and new ones start growing.

Nice to be able to see who's coming around. It must take a lot of energy to grow a new rack every year. - Margy
