No Jolly or Holly Here....

Well, it is NOT beginning to look a lot like Christmas here...

No tree, no lights, no cookies.

No stockings hung with care.

No cards written to share...

This is what it looks like here...

Chucky had to have unexpected surgery the week after Thanksgiving.

And he has to be contained, which is not easy - not at all easy.

He has his own TV now.

He listens to a lot of talk radio, too.

At night he prefers classical stations.

And he has a penchant for running away when he can.

Which he did - at night, in the dark.

(Wow, was that ever fun says Chucky)

He got an abscess the size of a baseball from the running he did that night.

(It was so worth it to be free says Chucky)

It had to be drained and he had to be all bandaged up even more.

He has to wear a t-shirt 24/7.

He has destroyed five of them so far.

The stitches come out this weekend if all is okay.

But who could be upset with a guy that looks like this!!!

Chucky thinks Christmas is every day....

And we should be more like him!!

Love those eyes! I think Chucky could be a deranged psychopath and get away with it with eyes like those!

Oliver (dalmatian) wants to know how Chucky got his own television (and what he watches). It is hard to believe all you've said about Chucky when one comes to his face. Look at that innocence! Hope the recuperation is swift and that all is well. Happy holidays to all.

Best,
Bonnie

Sounds like Chucky does not make a very good invalid! However, he looks adorable and quite spunky and his tail is wagging in the bottom pic (always a good sign) You may not have a tree, or stockings or lights or anything like that, but I'd say you've got a lot of Christmas going on around there. Have a merry one! :)

Poor Chucky! Here's hoping he's already recovered faster than anticipated....and that he has lost his knack for destroying t shirts.
