If Chucky could talk, he would say "Aw, shucks - it was really nice that you were all worried about me!". But he can't talk (thank goodness!) so I want to thank everyone for their concern.
Chucky is doing fine - the wounds have been healing nicely and he has his stamina back. Tramp 1 went to the kennel and had a heart-to-heart talk with them. They seem as perplexed about the issue as the vet did. Tramp 1 and the kennel owner did an inspection of Chucky's run and the outside play area and found nothing that could have caused the injury. Because they are such nice people and Chucky loves it there so much, we are going to let it go. They offered to pay the vet bill but we would not let them. It isn't about the money. It is just about keeping our dear Chucky safe - all the time.
And Chucky is VERY happy - he got a new toy!!

All I can say is they better not mess with Chucky! Glad to hear it was all resolved peacefully. Sounds like the kennel owners are as mystified and concerned as you are. Hope all goes well for the future.
Some things we can never figure out I guess. The important thing is that Chuckie is feeling much better and loving his new toy. I am impressed that the vet would check out the facility. You must have some very caring pet people in your town. - Margy
Glad all is well. Love the expression with his new toy. Good dog!
Woof!
:)
All well that ends well...could it have possibly happened right before he went to the kennel and then got infected?..sounds like the anti-biotics came just in time!
