Sailing Puget Sound

No, it wasn't us that went sailing - but we sure do wish it was! We have family that live in northwestern Washington. They recently inherited a family sailboat and have been very busy preparing for their first trip of the season. Their maiden voyage was over the Memorial weekend to Langley and Coupeville. They were kind enough to pass on a photo of the great day when they headed out on their adventure. We don't know if the special clothing was a requirement or a choice... but we sure loved seeing them!!

This is an interesting photo -an Egyptian, a pirate, and possibly a dancer. Now if I was out sailing and saw this trio I would be heading off in another direction. LOL Makes one think though. RAE

Yes, Rae, they are quite the trio. We lovingly told them we refer to them as Johnny Depp, the Pharoh and Cabin "Boy George" (she is not a boy, though...).

We hope to go out on a cruise in a week in our 24' powerboat, but I think our costumes will be shorts and tank tops (at least if the warm weather holds). - Margy
