Signs of Spring Here....

The first up is always the ever faithful chive plant.

The rhubarb never ceases to amaze us.

Supplies have been purchased.

Raised beds are being worked up.

I saw the first lizard sunning himself.

And of course, Chucky is ready to play!

Always....

Just love watching those little green things pushing out of the soil. Makes me happy to know winter is almost finished.

Last year my rhubarb in a pot seemed to be dying, but I cut what was left back, covered it with newspaper, and then sand. And it is coming back. Pretty hardy stuff. - Margy

I am in awe of the picture on the header of your blog. I have never even eaten rhubarb much less planted it. I am inspired to buy some to try. I have only seen it in bags in the freezer section here in Florida. Im sure it is not the same as fresh. Happy Spring!
