Found this nice buck had been visiting when I checked my trail cams. Notice how is neck is swollen being in the rut. Since we live on acreage out in the country, I like to have the cameras up to see what goes on. The one thing I have not caught on any of the cams is a cougar - and that is a very good thing!

I have been using my critter cam to track the actions of a mink that's been coming around the cabin. I've seen it during the day, and heard it at night. In one picture, it sat on the picnic table right next to the camera and looked right into the lens. I wonder if there was some kind of reflection there to get it's attention. That same night it went up on the roof and spend about five minutes running up to the peak and sliding down. What a racket! I wonder if it was chasing a mouse, or just playing. - Margy
Love that you captured an image of this gorgeous creature! I've been wanting to put wildlife cameras near our water feature to see what comes to drink there. We have coyotes, raccoons, skunks, possums and the occasional deer in our front yard. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
